This two day workshop is available to Veterans interested in correct butchering practices for butchering pigs. Mark Baker of Baker’s Green Acres will demonstrate the best practice for butchering heritage breed pigs for personal use. The participates will learn about tools, placement and be provided with basic training for a family farm. The second day will allow hands on opportunities for processing and allow students to gain confidence and experience in the practice of processing and packaging for personal farm use.
